Okuma

We couldn't let Grandma B. leave Okinawa without having visited our beloved Okuma. The weather ended up being great, so we got to enjoy lots of that beautiful blue-green water.

Barbara spotted this cool crab in the rocks. Check out those red eyes!

On our first full day there, Grandma B. watched the kids for a few hours while Spencer and I snorkeled. The reefs were amazing, but by the time we were done I was totally freezing!

That evening we rented a four-person canopy bike.
The kids sporting their cool helmets. Shawn actually kind of hated wearing his.
Since the big bike only sat four people, Spencer and I traded off riding this beauty. The steering was ULTRA sensitive, and the seat felt like it was going to fall off.
During our ride, we took a quick break to hike up to a lookout point.

Eleven weeks pregnant and already sporting panel shorts.

The morning of check-out, we really wanted to do ride the paddle boat. BIG mistake. Since we were all clean and dressed, we didn't want to get wet. It was about 48934 degrees outside, and we had to put some serious muscle into those pedals to get that thing going. We paid for about an hour, but lasted maybe 10 minutes. Good thing Okuma rentals are cheap!
